The 4.5 U chassis supports one Intel Xeon Bronze, Silver or Gold processor, six DIMM slots for up to 192 GB of DDR4-2666 SmartMemory, and optional Persistent Memory to accelerate caching and analytics.
Flexible backplanes handle 4 – 8 LFF or 8 – 16 SFF drives, while five PCIe 3.0 slots accept GPUs, faster NICs or SAS RAID cards. Embedded HPE iLO 5—with hardware-anchored Silicon Root of Trust—blocks firmware attacks and enables lights-out administration through HPE OneView. Modular cages support four or eight LFF drives—or eight to sixteen SFF drives—for a mix of high-capacity HDDs and low-latency SSDs. Five PCIe 3.0 slots accept GPUs, NVMe controllers or 10/25 GbE adapters, letting you scale performance as your data grows.
